Depends on faucet brand

Looks similar to the metal insert on my Kohler crescent bathroom faucet. Use the mirror and needle-nose pliers to pull it out. Probably one of those annoying little parts you can only get at the plumbing supply house that handles that brand. (been there done that :-)
Most kitchen faucets I've dealt with (various brands) have threaded spouts for the filter.

Our cat has, over the past 6 months, become increasingly obsessed with drinking water out of the running bathroom faucet . It s gotten so we can t even walk in the general direction of the bathroom without her running and jumping on the sink. We love her, but this is getting really annoying. She has a water bowl that we clean and fill daily, so we can t figure out what is going on. Has anyone else had this problem? What do you suggest we try?

    • Mine does that tooloves it. There is a running fountain cat waterer for sale in our local pet store. You can purchase that and it adds a beautiful fountain to your home and lets the cat drink from a source that feels clean and pure to it. If you didn t want to add a purchaselet kitty drinkor push it away when you go in the direction of the sink. They need that fresh water and it s not doing any harm.

On my visit to London I have been astounded to find almost all bathrooms equipped with two faucets, cold and hot, no mixing water temperatures and no flexible shower cords. Now, if there is no bidet, as in most cases, how do women apply washing to their genitals? Take bathes every time?

    • Wet flannelwipe thoroughly! lol! Although we do have a flexible shower head and joint taps in our house

The fixtures and faucets are going to be brushed metal. I m thinking of a light grey, or brownish tan color, but I m not sure if these all look good together. Is grey paint a faux pas in the bathroom? Thanks!

    • I would do green or chocolategrey is so blah, even a dark color like a berry color would make the pink look good
